The Make First guarantee

Your teen's first business pays for Make First, or Make First pays you back.

If the business your teen builds in the program has not earned back the tuition in gross profit within 12 months of enrollment, we refund the tuition in full.

In plain English

What this actually means

We measure gross profit: money in, minus what it cost to make and sell. Nothing else comes out of that number, not your teen's time and not what they choose to reinvest. Your teen keeps a running P&L in Studio, and that P&L is what the guarantee looks at.

The clock starts at enrollment. Twelve months from the day a parent or guardian signs the enrollment agreement is the whole window for the business to earn back the tuition in gross profit.

To qualify, your teen has to pass every gate through Sell (First Idea, First Build, First User, First Dollar) and log the work the whole way: the weekly update, the outreach tracker, and the P&L, inside Studio. A business that hits the number without the gates and the log does not qualify.
