Module 3 · Launch · Lesson 1 of 4
Learn the launch ladder from silent to public, and do your first small launch today.
Deliverable: A Launch Ladder plan: 5 launches over 2 weeks, each with a channel and a date. Do the first, quiet launch today - send it to 5 of your 10 people.

Mañalac's case for treating launch as a repeatable habit instead of a single big-bang event.
Most people picture a launch as one dramatic day - a big post, a rush of visitors, and then it is done. That picture is wrong, and believing it is one of the fastest ways to feel like a failure over something that was never going to happen anyway. A launch is not an event. It is a habit you repeat, in front of slightly bigger audiences, again and again.
The Launch gate is 20 strangers who used your thing, or 100 logged outreach touches. You will not get there from one post. You will get there by climbing a ladder: first the people who already know you, then small communities where your problem is discussed, then a wider social audience, then something bigger like Product Hunt once you have already learned from the smaller rounds. Each rung teaches you something to fix before the next one.
Today you build that ladder as a real plan - five launches, five dates, five channels - and then you do the smallest one immediately. Sending your link to five of the ten people you already interviewed is about as low-risk as launching gets, and it still counts. It gets you your first real reactions from outside your own head, and it starts the habit you will keep for the rest of this stage.
Bring your list of 10 people and your product’s current state, and let Claude help you build the plan - not decide it for you.
I'm building a Launch Ladder for the Launch stage of Make First: 5 launches over 2 weeks, starting small and getting more public. Here's my product, my one-liner, and the communities or platforms I'm part of: [paste details].
Ask me questions to help me map this out myself - which of the people I already talked to should hear about it first, which small communities I'm actually a real member of (not ones I'd have to fake belonging to), and what would count as a bigger, more public launch for me. Don't hand me a generic launch calendar - build it from my specific answers, one rung at a time. Make
