Module 6 · Run · Lesson 3 of 4
Put a help page, an auto-reply, and your bookkeeping on autopilot so the business runs without you chasing it.
Deliverable: Set up a support page with an AI FAQ auto-reply, connect Stripe to your P&L sheet so it updates automatically, and write your terms and refund policy.

Pass this stage's gate ($10,000 cumulative gross profit, running in under 10 hours a week) and you earn your First $10K.
See the Run stage →Set up support (a help page plus an AI FAQ auto-reply), bookkeeping (Stripe feeding your P&L sheet automatically), and the legal basics (terms, refund policy, and a reminder to ask a parent about taxes).

Levels describes running Nomad List with bots and automations instead of employees - the exact shape of the systems you're building this week.
A business generates the same three headaches whether it makes $1 a month or $10,000: people ask questions, money moves around and needs tracking, and there are a few boring legal basics you cannot skip. None of that is why you started this. All of it will eat your week if you let it.
This lesson is about building three small systems once so you stop doing them by hand every time. A help page and an auto-reply mean a customer question at 11 p.m. on a school night gets an answer without you touching your phone. Stripe feeding your numbers into your P&L sheet automatically means you are not manually copying transactions every Sunday. Clear terms and a refund policy mean you are not improvising an answer when someone asks for their money back.
None of this is exciting. It is also exactly what “running in under 10 hours a week” actually means in practice. Not working faster, but building things that keep working when you are not there. Taxes are the one piece here this lesson will not walk you through. Rules vary a lot, so that conversation belongs with a parent, not with a video.
Use this conversation to think through what your support page and refund policy actually need to say, in plain language a customer would understand, not to have Claude write your legal documents for you.
I'm a teenager setting up support and basic policies for my business. Ask me questions instead of writing anything for me first: what does my product do, what are the three questions customers ask most, what would a fair refund policy look like for something like this, and what happens if someone is unhappy. Once I've answered, help me organize my own answers into a short help page and a plain-language refund policy, and point out anywhere my answers are vague or contradict each other. Do not give me tax advice - if taxes come up, tell me to ask a parent.
Tax rules for a teen’s business income vary and this lesson does not cover them, so ask a parent; we do not give tax advice. This is also a good week to sit down together and look at the P&L before it becomes routine.
Make
Set up a support page with an AI FAQ auto-reply, connect Stripe to your P&L sheet so it updates automatically, and write your terms and refund policy.
Checkpoint
Your support page and auto-reply are live, your P&L updates itself, and you have started a two-week hours log.
